Sneakers are an addiction of mine, it started in about third grade, and honestly it started with the Jordan V. Along with a Gameboy, they were the only thing that I wanted for Christmas.
I got them after the fact, and man was I cool. Throughout my life, I’ve always had fresh kicks, and most of them were basketball inspired. I love retro sneakers, the nostalgic factor behind them, and the colorways, styles and design.
Most current day hoops shoes are lame, there was such a dryspell in the industry, but now the retro phase is hitting an all-time high, and it’s great for people like me who are obsessed with the sneakers they grew up with.
It’s more than just Jordan’s, but it definitely begins there.
HERE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE SNEAKERS OF ALL-TIME:
NIKE AIR JORDAN I

NIKE AIR JORDAN V

NIKE AIR JORDAN VI

NIKE AIR JORDAN XI

NIKE FOAMPOSITE (PENNY HARDAWAY)

NIKE AIR BAKIN’ (TIM HARDAWAY)

FILA GRANT HILL II (NOW RETROED AS THE “FILA-NINETY-SIX”)

Where are the Shaqs? Or Kemps?
You gotta throw the 96 Air Max Uptempos in here. Scottie Pippen had the shoe game killed for a few months when he unveiled those. They were soon made a mockery after the 120 different versions came out, but the originals were on fire when they came out.

Air Force Max best known as the Fab Fives kicks for me. I have to always have a fresh pair on hand. Both the all black and the navy blues.
